I have pretty much followed icy-veins Seeker of The Light build with diamonds and rubies for Blessed Hammer. I've got all six pieces plus Gabriel's Vembraces and String of Ears . I've messed around with different passives and skills however, what they recommend is what I have now, with the exception of using the Oblivion rune on my Blessed Hammer instead of Limitless so it follows me. I have found that I really benefit from staying on the move as apposed to standing in one place and dueling it out even when I'm toe to toe with an Elite. I'm using Focus(finally!) and a Restraint for rings, and a Hellfire amulet all socketed with
Legendary Gems: Gagok of Swiftness is essential in reducing cool downs so you can use your skills more and keeps your attacks faster.
Bane of the Trapped increases your damage making that hammer hit harder.
Bane of the stricken if for when your fighting Guardians or Elites in longer battles it stacks up building up your damage.
Weapons: Can only be Johanna's Argument which increases the attack speed of blessed hammer 100%! Paired with a shield: Guard of Johanna to
let you swing that hammer with an additional 250% damage against the first 3 targets it hits. So move and throw it again and it's again an
additional 250% against the first 3 targets of the next round! So MOVE AND THROW IT AGAIN LOL! As long as your wrath keeps up.
In the cube: I've got The Furnace, THE HEXING PANTS OF MR YAN(took me 3 LONG weeks to finally score these!),and either Convention of Elements or Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac. I haven't decided which one is better yet.
The more I move the better regeneration I have on my wrath and the faster my cool down. The more I move the better my hammer gets to do it's job and follow me and stay on target because it starts close to me and moves away as it orbits. The more I move the better chance I have on inflicting the most amount of damage without dying. It's all about the fighting style. I gotta remember to Move! It's not really hit and run, more like hit move hit. You've got to get that hammer swinging around you and move so it follows you. Remember it's on an ever increasing orbit around you til it's farther away and gone.
I plan on trying the Akkhan build soon also. Now that I have the rings and more in the cube it should go better. The first try failed cuz I couldn't get no wrath
I really shine when paired up with a monk who helps me heal, and regenerate wrath, and also pulls in the mobs to create those pretty white clusters to kill.
Is this an End Game build? Not so sure but it is fun! I am not done messing around yet. I am amazed at the monks and am going to try one soon!
If anyone has anything to add or any suggestions/constructive criticism I'm all "String of Ears" ..... get it? )
